10 Jahre Stadtreporter Bad Berka -TV- und zugleich unsere 100. Sendung, dass galt es natürlich zu feiern. Am 18. Februar 1999 bekam Bad Berka -TV- die Sendezulassung von der Thüringer Landesmedienanstalt, nun fehlte noch ein regelmäßiges Programm für die Kurstadt Bad Berka. Die Idee zu so einer Magazinsendung hatte Ernst-Wolfgang Schulze, der Anfang 2002 gerade dabei war, die Weichen für Lokalfernsehen in Bad Berka zu stellen.
